Is it really free forever?
Yes. 10 active booking links, a generated professional booking slug, 2 sign-up sheets, 2 groups, 5 active Money splits, and one connected calendar account: Google Calendar, Outlook, or Microsoft 365. No credit card, no trial clock, no downgrade surprise. We make money on Studio and Team.
Do my guests need an account?
Never. They book, claim slots, RSVP, and submit availability with no signup. That’s the whole point.
Which calendars work?
Google Calendar, Outlook, and Microsoft 365 Calendar are supported today. You can choose which calendars block availability and which writable calendar receives new bookings. Apple/iCloud and generic CalDAV support are still future work.
What are Money splits?
Money splits are for shared costs where equal shares feel wrong. Add the items, invite the group, collect private bids, and Carven calculates who gets what and what everyone owes.
What’s the MCP thing?
Carven exposes 30+ tools over Model Context Protocol — including group-coordination tools like find_common_time and resolve_round for coordinating real groups. Connect once in Claude, Cursor, or Windsurf and let your AI set up links, find common times, or run a round.
Can I use work and personal calendars at the same time?
Yes on paid plans. Free accounts can connect one calendar account; Studio and Team can connect multiple supported accounts, create separate public booking links, and route each link to the writable calendar that should receive those bookings.
Do I get SMS reminders?
Not yet. Email-only for now. We’d rather ship fewer features well.
